ECT Induction Tutor
The two-year ECT induction period is a vital foundation for any beginner teacher. However, for many schools; particularly smaller settings or those with infrequent ECT appointments, the statutory requirements can create a significant strain on staff capacity.
Providing both an Induction Mentor and an Induction Tutor is a heavy commitment.
I am able to provide my services to act as your Induction Tutor, allowing your staff to focus on mentoring while I handle the support structure, termly observations and feedback and appropriate body reporting.
How I Support Your School
By stepping into the Induction Tutor role, I provide an objective, expert layer of quality assurance that supports for the school and ensures the ECT can access the support to flourish.

Initial meeting with ECT and induction mentor including entitlement check
3 observations term 2, 4 and 6 - mid-way observation joint with induction mentor
Catch up progress meetings with induction mentor term 2,4 and 6
Post observation discussion with ECT (and mentor) terms 2, 4 and 6
Observation report for each observation undertaken
Termly report to the appropriate body
End of year report to the appropriate body

Expenses:
Travel expenses are charged at 0.45p/mile - dependent on location.
More than one ECT?
If you have more than one ECT, each additional ECT will cost:
Year 1 £1135.51
Year 2 £1067.85
If additional support is required:
If the ECT requires additional support or intervention this can be arranged and will be charged at £575 per day and billed per 30 minutes.
